One of the sporting highlights of the year, the match between Junior and Senior Infants took place during the last week of school in June. The teams were escorted onto the pitch to the tune of the muscial talents of the older boys - lots of drumming!!
The Juniors were keen to show off their newly gained hurling skills (thanks to Patsy Hall !) while the Seniors were determined to let them know who was Boss! A frantic match ensued. There were lots of goals, not all of them into the right net but a fun time was had by all.
The onlookers were cheering for both sides equally and when the final whistle went it was deemed a draw by Teacher Mrs Neville - as per tradition!
Thanks boys - an action packed entertaining match. Watch out Limerick Minors - the talent here is mighty!!
