Scoil Naomh Iosaf, Adare Boys School staged a production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat over two nights in Adare Village Hall recently.
The show played to full houses both nights and all were in agreement that it was the best show yet. The school has been staging productions in the village hall for the last three years and this years show was a colourful spectacle of music and superb singing from every pupil in the school.
Principal Barry O’Riordan was delighted with the results and justifiably proud of his students; “We took on the project with the holistic development of our students in mind. This is the culmination of weeks of hard work by our students and teachers. We see this as an ideal introduction to public speaking and confidence building and all the boys enjoyed it immensely” .
The show was directed and produced by Gerdie McGlynn and Charlie Reynolds provided the musical accompaniment. |
